Let's face it, many people think about the water that comes out of their taps. And in the UK, customers have no choice who they get water from. But there's challenges in the water and wastewater industry that need customer action; helping to stop blockages, reducing water use, reporting leaks etc. To get customers onside they need to trust your brand.
Outcome: Customers have a greater appreciation of their water services when they learn more about it. Bringing water to life was a brand campaign which focused on people, community, and SWW's investment programme. It demonstrated what SWW does and aimed to improve perception for value for water. This campaign included the creation of a customer tone of voice, and brand style guide. It included extensive executions; South West Water's first TV advert, publication of Let's talk water, social media paid promotion, radio and outdoor advertising, as well as +10 docu-style videos. Below is a glimpse into this project.
